Typically we reserve this space to provide notice of upcoming events, but in this case wanted to share some Pack pride. The incoming Arrow of Light Den recently completed a community service project building from scratch an art sharing library. Much akin to the sharing libraries you see around the village, this one was made to trade artwork, and was dedicated and installed today (July 20th) at 71 Pine Street, in front of MuseJar. So the next time you find yourself in the area, leave some art, take some art, and know that our pack has left a permanent imprint on the community with our service work!

Thanks to all of the parents who helped support the Roycroft Hot Dog Sale, the 3rd of July parade, and all of the pack and den activities throughout the year.  For those of you going to summer camp, we will see you August 2nd, otherwise we will see you when den meetings start up again in September.  Have a great summer!!!

For those going to summer camp, don't forget to get your medical forms signed by your doctor.  This is needed for both scouts and adults.  Also, check to make sure that your YPT training is up to date within the last two years.

Hello all, for anyone who did not see the pack email, tomorrow's portion (06/29) of the Roycroft Art Festival is canceled due to expected weather. There will be no event tomorrow. 

Our NEXT TO LAST pack event for the season will once again be the hot dog sale at the Roycroft Art Show.  This is the pack's biggest fundraiser for the year.  We will need adult volunteers to help set up on Friday June 28th, and for scouts and parents to sign-up for one or more hour shifts through out the two day show as well as helping to break down the sale at the conclusion of the weekend.

OK, so the Hot Dog Sale is not the last event of the year. This year Pack 514 has decided to participate in the July 3rd Parade in East Aurora.  This is a great way to increase our visibility in the community and hopefully recruit some new members.  Cub scouts and adults are all welcome to participate.  We will be meeting at Riley Street at 6:00 pm on July 3rd, with the parade starting at 6:30.  All participants should wear their Class B yellow t-shirts.  We will be marching in the parade along side Troop 513, who will be pulling a canoe full of candy.  The cub scouts will assist in handing out candy along the parade route.
